Hansika Motwani born 9 August 1991 is an Indian actress and a former child actress. She has worked in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil and Kannada films.Hansika Motwani was born in Mumbai, India. Her father Pradeep Motwani and her mother is Seema Motwani. Hansika attended Podar International School, Mumbai and enrolled for BA in political science at Cambridge University, London as correspondence course.
she also enacted a child role in the Indian serial Des Mein Nikla Hoga Chaand, for which she received the Favorite Child Award at the Star Parivaar Awards. She also appeared as one of the children in Koi Mil Gaya with Preity Zinta and Hrithik Roshan.
Hansika made her debut in a lead role in Puri Jagannadh's Telugu film, Desamuduru, starring opposite Allu ArjunHansika made her debut as a leading actress in Bollywood with Himesh Reshammiya in Aap Kaa Surroor – The Real Luv Story. The film was released on 15 February 2008. She paired with Jr. NTR in the film Kantri, which was released in May 2008.

Chowdhary's 2006 Telugu film Devadasu. She went on to appear in commercially successful ventures Pokiri (2006), Jalsa (2008) and Kick, establishing herself as one of Telugu cinema's leading actresses.
